Fresh Pressed Fonts [Ryan Welch]

Fresh Pressed Fonts are designed by Ryan Welch from New York, USA. From Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where the town’s claim to fame is corn and filming site for the movie Signs, Ryan found solace in his art. As the son of an artist, he would tag along with Mother, helping her paint murals when he wasn’t playing baseball. Ryan spent his childhood defying stereotypes by being both athlete and artist. After blowing out his shoulder pitching for the high school team, he had to forgo his obviously unreachable dream of becoming a professional baseball player, and decided to take on art full time. From crop circles to frozen tundra, he ventured northeast to attend Rochester Institute of Technology for his Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. Being snowed in most of the winter provided Ryan ample time for artistic experimentation, allowing Ryan to hone in on his craft as well as find a special love for typeface design.
