Hand Foundry [Andy Lethbridge]

Hand Foundry represents the creative output of designer Andy Lethbridge; After studying graphic design at the University of Portsmouth he found a true passion for creating letterforms, and went on to work at Fontsmith London, as well as studying typeface design at the Cooper Union in New York.

This interest in letterforms has flourished into a desire to create and explore them in all forms, from bespoke lettering and calligraphy to original typefaces and typographic design.

Hand Foundry was created with the aim to fully embrace modern technology in combination with a reverence for hands on skills and analogue methods. Pairing contemporary techniques with a skilled hand in order to produce unique and impactful design, lettering and type.
