Jean-Michel Jarre rang in the New Year with a groundbreaking live-stream concert spectacle that took place in the virtual environment of the planetary landmark Notre-Dame de Paris. The live show combined lifelike concert visuals in VR with a real live performance in the studio. The groundbreaking production left many viewers wondering which parts were real and which were virtual.

To date, the concert has been viewed by 75 million viewers and virtual partygoers from around the world. The viewership figures come from various platforms including VR platforms VRChat and Oculus Venues, national and international television and radio, social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Weibo, Bilibili and Douyin. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) made the event available free of charge to its national TV and radio partners worldwide.

Welcome To The Other Side was produced on New Year's Eve in collaboration with VRrOOm, the City of Paris and under the auspices of UNESCO - becoming the official midnight image and countdown from Paris. The impressive viewership continues to grow as the entire event is available online.

Jean-Michel Jarre performed live from Studio Gabriel near the cathedral in Paris while his avatar played inside a virtual Notre-Dame. The 50-minute concert, featuring tracks from Jarre's latest album Electronica as well as new, reworked versions of his classics Oxygene and Equinoxe, gave the world a virtual glimpse of the legendary landmark in a futuristic and festive way.

The 50-minute mixed media project was designed, created and produced in a record-breaking 3 months. A team of one hundred artists and technicians recreated Notre-Dame de Paris, creating a masterpiece that combines a variety of formats and skills.

The Pineapple Thief have announced the multi-format release of Nothing But The Truth on Kscope on October 22.
Following the release of their latest studio album Versions Of The Truth in September 2020, the band were preparing to launch the album's live campaign when, like so many other artists, their plans were put on hold by the ongoing global pandemic.
To still be able to perform and connect with their fans around the world, The Pineapple Thief filmed an extravagant on-demand live event in April 2021 called Nothing But The Truth, directed by band videographer George Laycock (Blacktide Phonic/Visual).
Bruce Soord explains, "The Pineapple Thief is equally about the studio and the stage, so it was very disappointing not to be able to tour, especially as we were really looking forward to showcasing the new album "Versions Of The Truth" live for all to see. The opportunity to make this film was invaluable, especially under the circumstances. It was such a foreign time and a foreign thing to do. Yes, we had all performed in front of cameras before, but this was different. We were playing a brand new, one-off set that was going to be broadcast to all corners of the world, and we were standing on our little islands in a circle, and there were cameras everywhere. The pressure was on. We just had to make it work!

The album introduced a different sound and a new line-up. It was originally intended as an Ian Anderson solo album, but pressure from the record label Chrysalis saw it credited to Jethro Tull, even though only two members from the band's previous incarnation were featured: Anderson and guitarist Martin Barre. The title of the album refers to the studio tapes, which were marked 'A' for Anderson.

A was produced by Anderson and Robin Black and along with Anderson and Barre, the band also featured Dave Pegg (bass, mandolin) and Mark Craney (drums), along with guest performer Eddie Jobson - a Roxy Music alumnus - on keyboard, synthesizer and electric violin.

A (La Mode) 40th anniversary edition is a six-disc set
For this reissue - what they are calling the 'A La Mode: 40th Anniversary' edition - Steven Wilson has created new stereo and surround mixes of just about everything, including the album itself, associated recordings and the full concert from the LA Sports Arena recorded in August 1980. This package also contains a flat transfer of the original LP master and a DVD of Slipstream video (the conceptual video project from 1981 runs for almost an hour) remixed by Steven Wilson in surround sound and hi-res stereo.

The anniversary edition is a 3CD+3DVD set packed in the now familiar Presented DVD-sized case-bound book filled with an extensive history of the album, track-by-track annotations by Anderson, rare photographs and more.

Уважаемые участкики данного форума!
Посоветуйте пожалуйста новичку простую и удобную программу для видеомонтажа, чтобы позволяла делать следующее:
- вырезать фрагменты из видео;
- "склеить" несколько видео в один;
- сжать видео до заданного в мегабайтах размера.
Лучше платную программу, но чтобы на этом сайте кряк был.
Бесплатного и путного обычно не бывает :-)
